HAL-Locate Secure Tracking
Leisure vehicles fitted with HAL-Locate are monitored 24 hours a day 365 days a year by a secure operating centre. Once flagged as having moved without authorisation by the owner of the vehicle, the HAL-Locate unit will automatically contact the control centre who will start tracking the vehicle. Once verification of the theft is confirmed by the owner, the control centre will proceed to track the vehicle, liaising with the police to ensure that the vehicle is retrieved and returned to the owner.
The HAL-Locate Control Centre provides:
• 24-hour access to police across Europe
• A single telephone number to call
• All national languages spoken
• Relay of tracking data to police in real-time
• Assistance in dealing with police post-incident
• Available in over 40 countries
The HAL-Locate Control Centre service works through a network of National Service Providers that have police accreditation in each country. They use the technology of the service and its standard procedures for incidents. A key feature of the Control Centre is that it enables the HAL-Locate GPS Tracking System to transmit positioning data into the network, which is then relayed to the police in the country of incident. This allows police to view the vehicle position in real-time during the emergency.
The HAL-Locate Control Centre is enabled by Eurowatch. For more information visit https://secure.eurowatchcentral.com
